The manager of a new hotel and casino complex in the northern part of Cyprus, which is controlled by Turkey, has threatened the U.S. singer, Jennifer Lopez aka JLo, because she canceled his concert there because of political reasons.

The president of this Turkish company who manages the hotel and casino complex says that JLo still has time to change her mind about the show on July 24, 2010. “The contract was not terminated. If she did not show up for the concert, we will begin to undergo the procedure in court to claim compensation 35-40 million U.S. dollars,” said Murat Bozoglu, president of the company concerned, which convey the warning from the company headquarters in Istanbul, Turkey. “The cancellation was … not covered by any article in the contract signed with us,” she said.
